[Closed] 2012 Nukeproof with 40-28 chainrings ??

Hi anyone know if I can run 40-28 on a 2012 NP mega ?? It says optimum is 36 don't want to have to buy another crankset

I think you might run into clearance problems IIRC; the 36 tooth is a tight fit as it is.

I don't understand why you'd need a new crankset, surely you just buy at new chainring?

I am currently running xt 3x10 flog it and get a double not piss arsing about with swapping chainrings but thanks blobonastick
