[#3292224]

Hi im trying to route the rear brake hose and there is a tab on the maestro link that looks like it should have some sort of widget to feed the hose through.

On this pic (not mine off google) appears to have it routed through a guide just under the bolt.

Mine has the tab but nothing was included in the box to fit to the space.

I've tried cable ties but they are too wide.
Any ideas anyone?

Ah I thought it was a special tab thing left out of my box.

I'll pick up some smaller cable ties tomorrow.

Thanks everyone can't wait to finish this build.

This is it mid build.

watch for the cables rubbing on your shock. I managed to catch mine early but it could have been a lot worse

I found that the zip ties abraided the cables quite a lot, maybe because they collected dirt and the cable would wiggle in the zip tie. Concerned about sudden brake failure, I removed the tie and now just let the brake cable flap against the shock body (only a little bit).

See how you go.

I had similar but loosened off the cable tie so it slid through easier which seems to have worked

Mine are loose at the moment, partly because I;'m lazy and partly as I worry about rubbing. Loose cables don't seem to rub (as yet)

Yeah think I'll cable tie and wrap the cable too.

I need to get the BB press fitted in so I'm in no rush.

Cheers for the advise people
