Took me ages to find a review of the 2011 Specialized Pitch Pro so thought I would share it here.

Had mine for only a couple of days and not ridden it. But it seems amazing value compared to the Santa Cruz Blur LT it is replacing. It weighs about the same (30lbs), has 150mm travel, comes with Elixir 5 brakes (200 rotor front), and a chain guide and bash ring, x-9 and only paid £1400.
Negatives I would say is the insanely cheapo looking cassette which is some black coated solid block of metal thing, and the stupid seat clamp which hides the front bolt under the saddle.
Will let you know how it rides come feb trip to Afan.
Sounds like the same seatpost as my older Pitch. To be fair it's not that bad to set up and once it's done it's a decent seatpost and pretty light.
