Has anyone put a Hammerschmidt on a 2011 Alpine 160. Ignoring the whole debate about the HS and single high pivot bikes and the efficiency of the overdrive mode, I just want to know if it is possible. I have seen it on 2010 Alpines at unreal cycles in the US. See link at the bottom.
My concern is that I believe the Alpine has ISCG guides but Truvative specify ISCG03/05. I read in a forum on STW that someone couldn't fit their HS to an Alpine for this reason. I believe that 03 is the same as ISCG but cannot be sure. No answer from Orange or lbs.
I have ordered the frame and will make do with a 1x10 for the moment.
My Alpine (2009) definitely has ISCG, not ISCG 05. I got a bit of a shock on this when fitting a chain device!
My 2011 has ISCG '03 (sometimes just called ISCG) mounts.
