[#1548500]

I'm looking at a 2009 Enduro tomorrow and just wondered what people on here thought who own one, have ridden one, etc?

Obviously i'll have a little spin but I don't think i'll get chance to have a proper test ride so would welcome any thoughts.

I've heard some bad reports on the rear shock but the guy has had it fixed under warranty with some new internals so that shouldn't be an issue.

Bought mine about 3 months ago with a view to selling it after my 1st alps trip coming up in July. I had it on demo for 2 weeks and loved it so much i sold my superlight.

For me it climbed and descended better than the superlight. I've had no problems with the shock on mine.. I tested a lapierre zesty 514 a week before and was completely underwhelmed by that

Looks lovely but why did they change the design from the great robust old design they had up to 2004? Now it looks just like a Kona.

Love mine, it's the 08 Model, but pretty much the same.

Always been so predictable, apart from throwing me off yesterday!!!

Also what size frames are people riding as i've seen differing views on sizing - I'm 6ft

I'm 6ft and ride a large 08 enduro sl with the E150 forks. I found it a bit long at first until I swapped the stem for a 60 mm. It's just about perfect and pretty much all the bike I'll ever need

I've been happy with mine, an 07 - though gone through 4 E150 internals - now on the 2009 ones which work great. You can ride it all day too.

however I am looking at the 2010 model - but that is a different beast

This one has some Fox forks on so won't have any issues with the E150 forks
