[Closed] 2009 Marin Wolf Ridge - fitting an Alpine Link?

[#3598912]

I managed to pick up an Marin/Whyte Alpine Link for my 2009 Wolf Ridge frame, but holding the link up to the frame, it looks too narrow to fit over the piviot points.

When researching the Apline link, the quad link / Wolf Ridge was mentioned a lot, but I'm wondering if it's for the 2008 design frame?

Does anyone know either way? thanks

Sorry, not sure, but I might be tempted to buy the Alpine Link off you if you find it doesn't fit after all (subject to some time with a ruler!).

I'm pretty sure its for the older frame. New one is slack enough as it is?? I think there were some atlered linkages for that crank gearing system that no-one seems to mention anymore.

Pretty sure they are for the earlier design.

Yes as above, the alpine link is for the Quad 1 linkage bikes, not the quad 2 bikes...

Quad 2

Though the linkage is seemingly quite rare now, so can be sort after...

Alpinelinks work for quad tara 2004/2005. But there are different sizes for the 06.
