Another 3 x 8 although don't use the big ring unless on road and the granny only gets called into action when I'm having a bad day. Will go 1 x 10 at some point but nowt wrong with the gears at the moment

still on 2x8 on the hardtail and 1x8 on the dh bike.....it all still works as it should. a lot of my friends are on 9 or 10sp but i dont have any problems keeping up with them...
may eventually upgrade to 10sp but only when my current set up dies and i cant get replacements any more...

2 x 8 here on my main bike, with thumbies, middleburn cranks + xtr mechs/cassette. Never felt the need to upgrade from this set up for donkeys years. Got 7/9/10 speeds on other bikes tho
