I’m thinking they won’t fit, but someone here has probably got a tandem inside.
Anyway is it doable, wheels off.
Yes, I've done it with a 5 door 2003 fiesta. Parcel shelf out, seats down and wheels off.
Okay great! Mine 2011 but similar I imagine. Do you remember how you packed them? I’m thinking bikes stacked with towel in between. Wheels wherever there is space?
A bit of a poor swap - surely you should have the numbers the other way round?
I witnessed a bike in a fiesta today. Thats going to be all the wheels off everything upright and not much else in there.

It would be as the bikes are def worth more than the fiesta!
Joshvegas - I regularly put 1 bike in the back, but would like to avoid using a rack if possible.
I've got a mk8 Fiesta and a Geometron. I haven't introduced them to each other yet.
The bloody thing wouldn't fit in the Panda even with the shock out and the rear derailleur removed.
Should be fine. Bags in boot first then bikes on top. Can’t remember if I definitely did it with my Fiesta but certainly did with the silly old Clio I had before it
2 bikes with wheels off and loads of kit easily went in my 2001 Fiesta with the seats down. Newer versions must be bigger!
I did three bikes and three adults inside an ‘04 Civic some years ago, so two in a Fiesta must surely be fine!
I’ve got 2 in an old style KA before, and these were XL bikes.
Needed a blanket or 2 to stop any parts rubbing on each other and there was even room for the bags, helmets and shoes, etc.
As others say, seats down, rack off, take stuff to pad them out, as the wheels can get tangled up in pedals and so on, a few blankets or whatever you have works, also stops them clanking together whilst driving. Keep an eye out on how close the rear mechs are to other things, just to stop them getting weight on them, same with brake levers.
I have 2006 Fusion, that is slightly pumped up Fiesta.
Managed 3 bikes inside, but rear view mirror was pretty useless xD
Cheers!
I.
Sounds good. So one set of wheels in bags at the bottom, bike with pedsls off, towel/padding, bike with pedals off, two wheels at side. Bags stuffed anywhere.
Thanks all.
I used to get my bike in my XR2.. seats down wheels off. Another would have gone on top no bothers.. also got 2 in her Ka which was admittedly tight but we did it!!
Often go cycling with my friend Tony and he has a 64 plate Fiesta which we use as bike transport sometimes.
Both wheels off both bikes. First bike lying on side and handlebars first. Second bike again on side on top of the other bike - handlebars first again - but on the other side. Blanket between them. Front wheels standing up next to each rear side window. Rear wheels on top of bikes on another blanket.
Kit anywhere you can fit it. I use the rear foot wells a lot in any car!
I use to stick two downhill bikes into a Corsa, about the same size as a Fiesta. Obviously you have to have all the wheels off.
I can get my and my daughter’s Nukeproofs in our Fiesta with just the front wheels off and some cardboard between them.
You can nearly always find a way to fit things in - I got my old bike in my Elise once (although it did involve removing the roof).

I’ll chip in with another not very useful anecdote, I once got 4 bikes in my mk1 Ka with a driver and passenger (uni bike club trip so pooling resources). I must admit though bigger wheel bases, bars wheels and tyres make this kinda thing much harder these days!

Very much this. We used to go all over the place with 2 DH bikes in the back of either a Saxo or a Ka. Our little 700mm bars, 26" wheels and vertical head angles kept everything nice and compact.
I bought a cheapy high tog double quilt to go between bikes when more than one in the car.
Seems to work a bit better than just a blanket for keeping the rattles and component collisions down.
