Going 1x10 ..do i need to shorten chain from a 3x10 FS bike setup.. Or still apply chain to biggest cog + 2 chain. Cheers.

You will need to shorten it (or should at least). Still do chain round chainring and biggest sprocket with the suspension compressed and add 2 links rule.

Suspension compressed.. You mean fully empty air in the can right? Cheers.

Actually changing it to med cage, as i have one lying around.

Yup. It can be the difference between ripping a mech off or not with some bikes.

Good call on the mech.

Yeah, stick it in the biggest cog, cycle it through the suspension, no better way and no reason to do it a worse way IMO...

I didn't know you had to compress the suspension...I did overlap an extra 2 links tho to compensate for snappage (the possibility of)...

Will I die?
