UPDATE: CLASSIFIEDS section refreshed, redesigned, searchable: Go take a look
Hi guys, I have a quick question regarding 1x10, I currently have some RaceFace Evolve XC cranks, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me if a chainring (28t or 30t) from the Shimano XTR FC-M985 XC crank would fit my current crank?
Thanks, and sorry if this is in the wrong section.
If you're running 1x10, you'd want a 4x104 ring without ramped shifting.
Look for a DH ring in your size teeth number of choice.
That XTR chainset is for 2x10, so has ramped rings.
No, the M985s are 88mm BCD. That's very small for a single too. For the best chainline you'll want to use your middle ring position, so really you're looking at 32t rings and bigger.
Cheers for the replies guys, I shall look for a dedicated 32t chainring then!
