Thinking of going 1x10. Going to go 10 sp rear 11-36 and see if i ever move off the middle ring.
If I don't I'll get a single up front.
What's the best thing to do? New chainset? Bash? Chain guide?
Who's done it?

I'm trying it with an MRP 1.X chain guide (1x9 though), seems good so far. A bit of fettling is needed to get the chain line right and had to space my middle ring inwards with the provided washers. It is a bb mounted chain guide and had to fit it in the place of the bb spacer nearest the shell, instead of the outer bb spacer as mentioned in the manual. I'm using last years xt crank.
