I have been asked to go to Zambia for approximately 3 years; I have some bike decisions to make.

The mountain bike is a no brainer, im shipping my Anthem 29er.
My other bike is more of a choice.

I recently built a Tarmac with Di2 fulcrum quarto wheels. Generally a nice ride, other than perhaps you have seen from another thread the pins and needles In my hands.
Until the change of countries I had decided to look for a Roubaix and swap the parts over to Di2 and sell the Tarmac with the Roubaix parts on it.
Now the 1st world problem.
I’ve gone for a Crux, still fact r10 carbon, to allow for 38mm tyres. Something the Roubaix would not fit, 30mm max on them.
Do I risk swapping out the 11 speed ultegra Di2 on to the Crux, then sell the Tarmac with the 10 speed 105 off the Crux. The risk I hear you ask? Breaking something Di2 in Zambia and waiting agers for a replacement part.
Over to the hive.

Wow, a nice problem to have!
Are either of the bikes you're taking essential transport, or fun things to do in downtime?
