Really?
Just swapped to a firm spring on my NS Traffic, so decided to replace the oil / clean the wiper seals. Fox service centre say 30ml in the spring side 160ml in the rebound side...
... 160ml makes oil over flow from the top of the crown!
so a quick clean up, drop that down to 100ml-ish and when the stanchions are all the way down into the legs the oil is level with the top of the crown?
This seams too much, I've not ridden the bike yet but the forks are definitely ramping up a lot at the end of there travel?
OK so what have I done wrong and are they going to break and kill me by spring to the forehead in a shower of fork oil?
Cheers Ben
Fill from the top and cycle the damper after putting about 80ml in.
Did you also cycle the damper to get all the old oil out?
