so the weird and wonderful shimano logic (usually right though) has me confused
need some rotors for new wheelset for gravel bike....rear is easy (i think) 12mm thru axle so if buy an Ultrega rotor it comes with a lock ring that will work?...most road bikes in last few years are 12mm thru axle
front is 15mm thru axle (I'm old and mean) so question is does the lock ring that comes with the Ultrega rotor work on 15mm? ...think current front has a lock ring labelled 15mm/20mm only so looks like I bought it and vaguely remember having to
You’ll need an external spline lockring on the front.

Uses a HT2 tool to tighten.
^^^cheers that's sort of where I reckoned 15mm front needs adaptor and am ok with HT2 tool
