New Sid forks and AM classic hub, seems like I can screw axel in all the way and then qr isn't as tight to do up as a "regular" qr hub. Is this just how it is? I've never had a 15mm setup before.

Open the lever to take tension off it, and you'll find a 2.5mm allen key fitting in the end, nip it up a click or two.
