Hive mind help requested.

Got a 142x12 axel'd trek fuel. Spins fine until I put any tension on the lever and then it gets sticky. Used to be ok, not changed anything on it. Maybe didn't wash things after a ride.

What do you reckon most likely cause is? Had a wiggle about and doesn't feel misaligned or unduly gunged up, took the caps off the frame and there's a bearing in there that seems ok and a spacer that looks like it's in the right place.

help!

recently had a problem removing my rear maxle, only just managed to get it out with my hand and discovered it was bent and starting to crack at the start of the threads.

i had noticed the last time i had refitted it it was a bit stiff to get in so i just greased it up a bit. will be having a proper look if i ever find it stiff again.
