[#3265903]

hi y'all

looking at re-entering the world of full suspension next spring looking at 120-150mm travel aluminium framed not too heavy but not too light.... ALL Mountain if you will!!!!
my current short/long list is:

SC BLUR LT
SC HECKLER
SC BUTCHER
ORANGE 5
TRANSITION BANDIT
STUMPJUMPER COMP EVO
TREK REMEDY

I had a heckler previously and loved it and know all the fors and against for the heckler vs 5 and I'm more interested in real world comparisons of the others? and any others to consider?

currently being drawn to the SC BLUR LT or BANDIT

cheers

I'd be looking at a cheap ASR-5 frame from Rutland Cycling myself.

Yeti 575 should also be considered, some great deals about at the moment.

My mate demo'ed a Blur LT from Skyline Cycles at Afan. He loved it but it was his first go on a full-susser so it's difficult to say if it was the LT or just the switch to full bounce. It definately made him a good 25% faster overall than he'd been previously though, and easily 50% faster downhill!

Blur LT2 here, and its the best full suss bike I've ever had! I've put 160mm Lyrics up front, and this bike tackles everything so well, and quick too.

Love it

I've owned a Blur LT and ridden a Butcher in the Alps. The Butcher was definately more All Mountain, felt heavier duty, more help from it on the big stuff.

Canyon Nerve AM is the bang for the buck answer. Look at this for £2600

I have a 11 heckler, single pivot easy to maintain and with 160 fork on its slack enough. Prefer it to the spicy I had before.

The yt industries wicked is a bit of a bargain. Alternatively, just go with the heckler and save yourself some cash.
