What XT rear shifter do i need to fit a Hope Tech 3 lever?
I presume which ever one it is it will come with the necessary fixings?
Currently running a Sram GX shifter with a matchmaker to connect to the Tech 3 lever but Ive had enough of Sram's rear mech's pivots becoming worn and loose over 12 months and not shifting nicely anymore (had this with 4 Sram GX mech's over the last 4 years) so have decided to go Shimano XT rear mech and shifter and see they are any better rather than buy yet another GX rear mech

Presuming you mean 11speed XT which is I spec II, you need the HBSP 327 Hope adapter.
Or, buy the I spec B version which attaches directly to the tech 3 lever.
If you mean 12 speed, then you can't as there's no Hope adapter (yet) for the new I spec EV mount. You'll need the band on shifter.
Edit: didn't read title properly, ignore bit about 12 speed 🙂 also, my god shimano mounts are confusing.

That's a bit of a pain, another thing to pay out for, may go for the 11 speed band on instead

Edit, just found this on the Hope website, looks like if i get the Shimano i spec B shifter its just a simple bolt and nut to fit
See my edit, it would appear shimano still do an I spec B version which needs no adapter, might need a different nut and bolt.
