Sorry to ask a question that has surely already been covered (but I can't see a "search" answer to)...
I'd like to run my M980 XTR 10sp shifter and 10sp XT cassette with an 11sp rear mech. Is that doable?

Imma gonna say no.Mtn 10speed has a derailleur ratio of 1.2 vs 1.1 for 11speed (ie it will move a different amount per shift vs 10sp).
Actual experience may vary.
