After examining my reba's they can only be adjusted to 85mm or 100mm what effect will it have on the handling putting them on a 120mm bike?

Is it a Trance X? If so, I think they're already a steep bike, so by dropping fork travel, it'll be steeper again. How old are your Rebas? Newer ones can certainly be changed to 120mm.

TranceX has normal XC/trail handling with a 120mm travel fork. Many people are putting 140mm forks on to give them a more all-mountain/trail handling. Might feel a bit hyperactive with 100mm travel forks.
