hi, im just woundering what traing people do for these events?
at the mo i ride six miles 4 days (ride to work) a week and a 20 mile mtb every week i'm totaling around fifty mile a week.
anyone got any tips so i could complete the 100k

oh and its next month so whatever i need to do i have feeling it will need to be quick.lol
Why not try 2 laps of your 20 mile ride & then increase to 3 laps?

Increase your weekend ride to...... 25, 35, 40, 45 over the next 4 weekends - hopefully it won't be too big a step up but you ain't got time on your side
Ride as hard as you can [and then a bit harder] from work twice a week, go the long way home and make it last an hour
Doing 2 x 2.5 miles a day commute, term time only, plus another half dozen rides during the year was enough to get me round 160km at Kielder last year.
It'll be 'right.
