I just got throught the post a shimano slx m660 left hand 10 speed shifter. However on further inspection its actually a 3speed shifter. (for a 3x10)
Was i wrong to be expecting a left hand 10 speed shifter or have i been sent the wrong thing?
Hope that makes sense as i know in euroland they have the gears on the wrong side.

You were wrong I'm afraid. Left hand shifter is alwys for the front mech.
They have the brakes they other way round, which is easily rectified.

You're thinking brakes. No-one as far as I know makes 10spd LH shifters.
