Will a 10 speed cassette work with on my 9 speed set up?? And yes I do know I wont get the full 10!!
No, the spacings are different between the sprockets. actually to correct myself the top and bottom one will work, the indexing will be to cock on the rest.
No different sprocket spacing. If it's one of the types you can take apart and put in 9sp spacers it might.

9 speed shifters wont work with a 10 speed cassette
10 speed shifters will work with a 10 speed mech and cassette on a 9speed hub.
9 speed mech will run a 10 speed cassette with 10 speed shifters
If everything else is 9 speed a 10 speed cassette will not work
all the views are correct
if you never change gear it will be okay though
A 10 speed cassette is 1mm shorter than a 9 speed cassette so I don't think you could even get top and bottom correct.
