Been riding the Hummer for ages now just in middle ring .Did a lot of hills round home on it today (not that big but still ) pleased how well i managed .Rode like it on the Quantocks the other day and only got defeated once .Just one short sharp bit , then i walked that bit rather than change down to get the full experience !? Now i'm thinking i'll just leave it like it is .Bike only weighs 25 lbs so not over bothered about losing a little bit more and haven't had any issues with chain jumping off at all .'Tis all about discipline ! 😀

Ehrm if you have a triple chainset on the bike and working why not just use it rather than walk??
Well i kinda wanted to get the experience of what it would be like if i went the whole hog if that makes sense .Now i'm thinking sod it carry on as i am .
Thats lame, i did the whole of todays ride as a singlespeed. although i couldnt decide on 32x16 or 32x18 so used both.
Wear and tear on 25 other gears saved.
