Just fitting 1x10 X9 crank. Replaced 2x10 with MRP bling ring, and fitted new GXP BB to Inbred frame. Pushed driveside spindle in but there is 10mm of bare spindle on the drive side and the crank won't push through any further - is this right?

Yep.Gxp captures the nds bearing between the crankarm and the 'step' in the axle (no preload).

Doesn't that leave the drive side BB seal vulnerable to falling out? Or is that side held in better than the non-driveside one which falls out easily until the crank is tightened?
