Got a nice Maxm MX2 stem and the Google gumph says it's for 1" bars.
Just wondering if it's bob on for some 25.4 Woodchippers?

MTB non os is 25.4. It's road that's usually 26.0

1" would be the steerer end not the bar end wouldn't it?

Not necessarily and he did say it was the bar size...

Nah steerer clamp is defo 1.125".

1 inch is 25.4mm. 1 1/8 inch is 28.570mm. 1 1/4 inch is 31.8mm (o/s) and 1 1/2 inch is 38.1mm (not to be confused with 31.8mm o/s).
