1" disk forks seem to be like hen's teeth. Browsing the internet, and I came across these 1" forks for a suspiciously low price;

How quickly would we die if these were fitted, alongside disk brakes to my tandem?

Pace RC31 turn up every now and again- though not sure if suitable for a tandem. You could get someone to braze a disc mount on your existing forks/ any 1" fork

Exotic have carbon and alloy options

On a tandem though..... hmmmm no way I'd use your linked hybrid forks.

I'd be tempted to get a used suspension fork, a Bomber or something similar likely to be strong.

The disk ejection scare of the early noughties was started by a set of skinny 1" forks on a tandem, looking exactly like those, that spat the wheel out under braking forces...

Thanks all - fairly universal comments.

Got some v's on order now so hopefully I can get them at up to be good enough. I managed to get the V's on my wife's touring bike set up to be good enough to pull stoppies, fingers crossed the new ones will be similar
