Makes you wonder if you could get some threaded inserts to allow you to use a standard 1.1/8th press fit.

Al I got these last year for a 1 1/4" Gary Fisher Prometheus, takes it down to 1 1/8" to give more variety of fork etc.

He's not wanting new forks so ebay looks like teh winner (nowt at ison)
