[#2447415]

Got an old spesh frame without forks. Headtube takes a 1 1/4" fork steerer. What are my options.

Trying to build a commuter/ratbike so looking for as cheap as possible a solution.

You options are likely...limited. Probably 15 years since anyone made them.

I'd be googling and searching eBay. Or posting a WTD here.

Someone will have a 1 1/4" steerer fork hoarded in their shed. However, you'll struggle to find 1 1/4" headsets anywhere (do you have a whole headset?).

Reducers exist(ed) but may be hard to find at ratbike prices.

I'm still riding a 1 1/4" bike but I'm down to my last headset and that won't survive many more wet rides.

As above some headset reducers are what you need.

I've got a brand new 1 1/4" fork in my attic if you want it.
