We’ve owned this bike for a long time now and it’s been used by my wife and both kids. It’s based on a Trek Fuel, I repainted the bike black for my son about 5 years ago he used it a few times and it’s since sat in the shed gathering dust. It’s a 14” frame so I’d say it would work for taller 8/9 year olds upto about 5ft /5”1 in height. When looking for bikes for my kids I struggled to find something at the time that wasn’t exceptionally heavy. So decided to go about it myself. As a result we ended up with a 26” wheeled, 14” frame full suspension bike with air suspension weighing under 25lbs (10kg) the bike has very light weight Alex XCR comp XC wheels, set up tubeless with Maxxis igniter tyres (they will need a top up of sealant or tubes fitting) it’s 1×10 with a large range cassette and 28t narrow wide front ring and SlX clutched rear mech , which really helps with kids climbing 3T Carbon seat post and Easton Carbon bars, Shimano Deore hydraulic brakes front and rear, fox float rear shock and Manitou Skareb air forks, which are super light and allow you to adjust air pressure to suit lighter riders.

Like mentioned earlier the bike hasn’t been used in years but a quick spin up and down the road and it all seems to be spot on. Unsure how to price as it’s obviously old and unique, but is a fantastic way to introduce kids to mountain biking.
