Bold Linkin Pro Frameset – bought from J’s Cycles by me as a frameset.
Beautiful, very high end full Carbon Trail bike, very modern and capable geometry with various adjustments, in frame storage, full carbon integrated cockpit etc.
Bold are the high end ’boutique’ arm of Scott – the frame is beautfully made by them in Scotts highest specification Carbon Fibre, the Linkin being equivalent to a Scott Genius (Any Scott dealer and gets parts, service etc). The brand new 2027 Scott Spark uses the linkage design from this bike.
Size Large, but with a nice short seat tube that allows for deep seat post insertion. Most people on this size large will easily be able to run at least a 200mm dropper.
Uses Scotts ‘Tracloc’ system for on-the-fly shock adjustment – full open mode, traction mode with increased progression, and finally light lockout.
Fox Factory (Kashima) Shock – just been serviced by Silverfish with only two rides on it since. Perfect working condition, quiet and smooth.
Full Carbon Syncros 1 piece cockpit, equivalent to a 50mm stem. Bars cut to 770mm.
Adjustable headset cups all included – standard, +1degree, or -1degree.
Chainstay adjustment chip, standard or low.
Built in Sag marker to help setup.
Sram Pressfit BB fitted, treat this as a freebie. Will remove if you want.
‘Save the Day’ kit included – Downtube storage kit with pump, tube, tyre levers, multitool all stored low down and sealed from the elements.
Syncros axle with T25, 6mm, 8mm tools incorporated. Lightweight Seat clamp.
Includes both Bold Linkages – 135mm, and 150mm travel, PLUS the tools required to change over. I have run in both setups but currently the 135mm linkage is fitted (these are not supplied with the regular builds).
The frame was fully wrapped before it was ever built – there are a few marks in the wrap and corners lifting, but the Carbon finish underneath is in very good condition, only a small mark in one or two places. Very, very nice condition.
Included are all the parts required to run the headset in multiple configurations, all the cockpit parts and trim, plus the parts to run a ‘regular’ stem and bars if desired. Left in place are a gear out, dropper out, lockout cable, and a Sram Silver Banjo Brake hose.
Bargain price for a very high end frame, always gets compliments, rides amazingly, great condition, very sorry to see it go but too many bikes and something needs to make room.
