I bought the bike new in 2022 from Studio Vélo in Castle Douglas. The shop fitted the Invisiframe kit, upgrade fork, shock and Shimano bar mounted display. The motor has only done 597km. The forks have had a lowers service and shock a full service at Tweed Valley Bikes. It’s also recently had a new chain. Mechanically and electrically, it’s all running perfectly, and the motor is a fair bit quieter than other bikes I’ve ridden with EP8 motors.
It’s a fantastic all round trail/all-mountain bike, and IME, it’s got the perfect balance of power, weight and range for an e-bike. The only reason that I’m selling it is because I’ve really struggled to get comfortable on it for longer rides (have tried various handlebar widths, rises and stem lengths). It’s not the bike, but my old beaten up body – I broke my arm/shoulder about 9 years ago and have been sensitive to bike fit ever since, particularly after I turned 60!
I’ve been offered a price by a bike buying service, but would rather sell to someone who’s going to use the bike for themselves, rather than just flog it on.
