Vote Now! Best Image – Singletrack World Awards 2023

by 0

This is a simple concept: what’s the best image published in Singletrack – print or web? Thanks for all your nominations, now comes the hard part: choosing your winner!

147 Classic Ride: Markus Stitz, Jura

You will often see this side of a bikepacking adventure on social media, but we printed this shot over a full spread because it just made us feel so warm and fuzzy. The stars are out, the tent looks cosy and the isolation is enough to make us want to pack up and head out for the night.

149 Cover: Martin Bissig, Soca Valley, Slovenia

The calm before the storm, this shot of the Soca River in Slovenia was taken moments before a relentless 24 hour downpour. Have you ever seen a photo that makes you want to go outside and play more than this one does?

150 Cover: James Vincent, South Glen Shiel Ridge

Our first ever hike-a-bike cover is a nod toward the unknown as opposed to the usual action shot of the best part of a trail. Did the anticipation of the ride combined with a clear blue sky and a jagged ridgeline leave you feeling inspired?

150 Anders Engberg

Amanda is our resident pedaller, who loves the climbs as much as the descents. No genre of biking is turned down, though she is happiest when at the top of a mountain with a wild descent ahead of her. If you ever want a chat about concussion recovery, dealing with a Womb of Doom or how best to fuel an endurance XC race, she's the one to email.
