If you’re feeling a little helpless, here are two bike related fundraisers you might like to take a look at.
Wizard Works Bike Bags
Wizard Works released these blue and yellow bags on Friday to help those fleeing from war in Ukraine. All the proceeds (that’s 100% of sales, not just profits) of these bags will be donated to the DEC British Red Cross Humanitarian Appeal.
Available as a Lil Presto barrel bag and regular size Voila stem bag, they’ve already had such a great response that they sold out of the Lil Prestos and almost all the Voilas. But Tasha and Meg are in the middle of sewing a whole lot more – if you purchase a bag this week, it will be finished in time to be sent out on Friday.
Cyclorise Revel Raffle
On Friday, Cyclorise launched a raffle to raise funds for the DEC (Disasters Emergency committee) for use by the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. They are donating a Revel Rascal frame in Purple (winner chooses Medium or Large frame size) worth £3799, for which they are asking for £10 per ticket to gain entry. As the frame is a donation, 100% of the funds received are going to the appeal.
The raffle ends next Monday (21st March), so make your donations before then!
Distributor ExtraUK has joined the raffle, offering two great prizes and increasing entrants’ chances of winning. They are pledging both a pair of Crank Brothers Speedlace shoes of the winners’ choosing and a Topeak tool bundle. Additionally, online retailer @traildogz_mtb has pledged a POC Kortal Race MIPS helmet.
Cyclorise would also welcome any other member of the cycling industry whether they be a distributor or shop to donate to the prize pot. All they need to do is drop them an email to sales@cyclorise.com with details of the prize they would like to offer.
