Maribor Track Walk with Bernard Kerr

With the third round of the DH World cup fast approaching, it won’t be long before racing begins. Check out the track and how things are looking with Bernard Kerr. He heads down the track with Eddie Masters, Sam Gale, Emilie Siegenthaler and Matt Walker.

So far things are looking pretty hot and dry. The track looks pretty open so it will be interesting to see where lines develop over the next few days. The Pivot team discuss line choice and options as they take a walk down the mountain. There have been a few changes so it will be pretty cool to see who does what on race day.

This weekend there’s just the downhill race with no XC in Maribor. This means finals will be on Sunday 15 August. The women’s finals will go live from 11:30 AM with the men’s following at 12:45 PM. You can watch live on Red Bull TV.

We are back to the races sports fans… It’s Maribor World Cup time and we take you down the slightly fresher than before track…she’s gonna be high speed, wide open. Hold on tight for a fast race!

Qualifying is happening on Saturday so this should give some indication of who may end up on the top step. Saying that, you never know but it’s always good for points in the overall. There are a few people not racing this weekend due to a mixture of reasons. Aaron Gwin is out due to a back injury, Dakota Norton due to a positive Covid test, and Jo Breeden with a broken collar bone.

Not too good about writing about myself, but not so bad at writing about other things. There was a time that I hated bikes, but then they became my life. Wouldn't be the person I am if I hadn't been on this journey. Here's to bikes, drinking tea and everything that comes with life on two wheels. I'm Lauren, I like bikes and writing about them. Always trying my best and up for adventures.
