Podcast: Trail Dogs, Tube Tech and Fire on t’Moors

by 1

This week’s podcast sees Hannah reveal her trail dog anxieties while Chipps and Charlie try to persuade her that she should be more welcoming of trail friends who lick you. The team tries to think of when you might want a smart inner tube, and put their captain sensible hats on (only briefly) to talk about moorland fire risks. Welcome to this week’s Singletrackworld podcast – tune in for listener perks and discounts.

I came to Singletrack having decided there must be more to life than meetings. I like all bikes, but especially unusual ones. More than bikes, I like what bikes do. I think that they link people and places; that cycling creates a connection between us and our environment; bikes create communities; deliver freedom; bring joy; and improve fitness. They're environmentally friendly and create friendly environments. I try to write about all these things in the hope that others might discover the joy of bikes too.

Good Podcast but did I hear Charlie say that mountain bikes who ride to the top “are of good character”? What does that say about our brothers/sisters who use a motor?
