Join The Fort William Virtual World Cup and Gathering, Sunday 7th June

by 0

We’re not able to race or spectate at the Nevis Range, but we can still mingle with racing legends on the 7th June via Facebook for the Fort William Virtual World Cup.

Mountain bike fans could finally get a taste of some World Cup Racing action on the 7th June while maintaining social distancing and sitting in the comfort of their own homes. The event organisers of the Fort William World Cup are setting up a unique Virtual World Cup this coming weekend, as part of the Fort William World Cup Gathering being hosted Live on Facebook.

The virtual event promises a host of stars and guests from the World Cup community and a chance to relive memories and celebrations from past Fort William World Cup races from over the years.

Details are sparse, but the Live event will also feature a Virtual World Cup, we’re unsure if this will be a video game style event, points-based competition or even a Strava style event but it’s certainly something to look forward to.
