Commencal Updates The Supreme And It's Up For Pre-Order Today!

by 4

Remember back at Fort William in 2019 when we reported on a prototype Commencal Supreme? Well, that bike has proven so successful that it has gone into production.

The Commencal Supreme with it’s high-pivot and idler has become a bit of an icon on the Downhill World Cup circuit and is quickly becoming the privateer’s bike of choice.

It’s easy to see why too. The Commencal Supreme is a proven race winner, it’s made of alloy, it’s affordable and it doesn’t hurt that it’s a great looking bike too.

While the original Supreme was a proven bike, Commencal has managed to find a few areas to improve upon and has now released an updated Supreme.

The New Commencal Supreme features new suspension kinematics that allows riders to run more sag, but at the same time, boosts the playfulness of the bike too, making for a more nimble riding experience.

Updates to the idler have also been made for improved pedal efficiency and the pivots and frame structure has been beefed up for stiffness.

Below you can see the new Commencal Supreme in action!

Because the latest version of the Supreme has already been raced at World Cup level and has even won a number of races, including Fort William 2019, you don’t even need to hold off buying one before you know how good it is!

As with the previous Supreme, the new bike comes in both 27.5in and 29in wheel options, however there are 4 builds in the larger wheeled version and just a single build for 27.7in.

Our SUPREME gets better.

We’ve been part of the racing world for a long time.
Our Engineers attend races to give technical support that is key to winning races where every hundredth of a second matter.

They are constantly working on new ways to improve our frame’s performance. Thanks to their aluminium construction, we can develop, modify, test and improve, very fast.

Since the 2019 Fort William World Cup, the Commencal/Vallnord Team riders were on a new Supreme adaptation. It had its first race, first win under Amaury Pierron. To be followed by two other beautiful victories in Les Gets and Lenzerheide.

All of this experience gained at the races finds its place in our range of bikes. We are offering you none other than the possibility to ride the same bike as Amaury.

The benefits are numerous.
The stiffness has been increased to gain precision and avoid any loss of energy.
With a new idler pulley position, the pedalling efficiency has been improved.
The new kinematics combined with a new main pivot point allows the bike to be more nimble, and allows the rider to reduce the SAG without losing any comfort.

The new SUPREME is stronger and sharper.
Available on pre-order today.
