Cancelled: 2019 Malverns Classic cancelled due to weather conditions

by 8

Extremely wet weather and continuous downpours mean that this year’s Malverns Classic will be cancelled.

Si Paton, the organizer of the 2019 Malverns Classic, has taken the say but necessary steps to cancel this year’s event. In a post on social media, Si says that the poor weather and unexpected heavy rainfall has forced the team to make the call. The decision has been made on a safety basis as landowners and safety staff are worried about how event goers will make it to and from the site in the extremely muddy conditions.

If you were planning to attend the 2019 Malverns Classic and already have tickets booked and paid for then you should be receiving a refund soon.

The good news is that Si Paton and the crew plans to bring the Malverns Classic back again in 2020.

“But we are going to be back bigger and better we are not going to  let the weather beat us 2020″ Si Paton
