Race results from the 1st round of the 2019 UCI DH World Cup from Maribor DH.
The weather held for the final at Maribor with all racers enjoying a much drier and dustier track compared to the conditions during qualifying yesterday.
By the time the top riders in the men’s elite were hitting the dirt, the Maribor DH track had changed quite a bit with more roots coming through, holes developing in corners and those big compressions becoming more harsh and rough. A little too rough and dusty for both Finn Iles and Loris Vergier who both had trouble during the finals.
