DJI’s New Drone Flies At 108km/h!!

by 0

A few months back DJI rained al over GoPro’s parade when they launched the Mavic Pro folding drone that is not only smaller than GoPro’s Karma, but more powerful, smarter and less likely to come crashing down out of the sky!

The Mavic Pro is great for anyone wanting a more compact drone to carry about with them, but for drone pilots wanting something more substantial DJI’s newest drones are likely to impress.

DJI announced their two latest drones earlier today, the new Phantom 4 Pro is based on the current Phantom 4 range, and the Inspire 2 is their next generation “pro-sumer” model.

Will the Phantom 4 Pro fly down your chimney this Christmas?

Priced at £,1589.00 the Phantom 4 Pro is visibly similar to previous Phantom models, but don’t let those common looks fool you. This latest UAV boasts a control range of 7km, has a 30 minute flight time, and it’s built in camera uses a 20 megapixel Sony Exmor R CMOS sensor for 4K video recording.

Perhaps the neatest of all the features though is a 5 direction obstacle avoidance system. With this system engaged the Phantom 4 Pro can be set to follow mode and be trusted not to fly into trees, power lines or other trail users.

With a top speed of 108km/h we don’t want the Inspire 2 near our chimney!

The Inspire 2 also shares its design with the previous Inspire model but this £3,059.00 professional drone has been seriously beefed up in the power department and can reach speeds of up to 108hm/h! At that speed, you’d have no issue keeping up with the latest E-Motorbike from Alpha!

Inspire 2 features also include a 7km control range, folding landing gear and up to 5.2K video recording.
