Change Of Venue For 24 Hour Solo Championships

While this year’s competitors are putting the finishing touches to their training regime in preparation for the 25 hour 24 hour race at Relentless this year (the clocks are changing during the race, giving competitors an extra hour of fun!), those considering a shot at the national 24 Hour Championship in 2017 will be pleased to learn that it will be back to the usual 24 hours of suffering/fun, at a new venue – Newnham Park, as part of the PivotTwentyfour12.

Pivot Twentyfour12 organiser Martyn Salt from Inevent:

‘We’re delighted to secure this event for 2017. We have been talking to the guys at No Fuss about bringing the solos here for a while and with the support of our wonderful sponsors we will be offering a £2k cash prize fund for the top 5 men and women. All 24 hour soloists are guaranteed trackside camping at Newnham and we believe the champs will really add something to our event package. We have about 3000 staying onsite at our event and with enhanced timing visibility the crowd are really going to get behind the solo battle – particularly when all the 12 hour riders are finished! Exposure have backed our event for 11 years and already offer a great service to our riders so thanks to them for going the extra mile next year and bringing in Ultimate Components to help make this bigger and better’
