So here we are at the Tweedlove EWS, sat quietly in the calm before the storm. Having had a typically British mix of weather so far this week it looks like the Tweed Valley will be graced with dappled clouds and sunshine over the weekend of racing.
The roots, rocks and ruts firmly bedded into the steeps of Innerleithen and Glentress seem to have taken people by surprise, I mean, the rolling hills of the borders is going to have to pack a punch in comparison to the eruptive Chile. It’s evident that the ticking clock is certainly going to sort the men from the boys over the next two days of racing.
Check back Saturday for all the action from day one.
