Giro Alpineduro Boots

Alpineduro? *Sobs*
Alpineduro? *Sobs*

These are the Winter 2014 Giro Alpineduro winter boots. No one in the UK has seem them yet. Designed with input from UK riders, they feature a full Vibram sole, lace-up uppers that are waterproof to four inches of immersion. They’re thermally lined to cope with the kind of temperatures we see in the UK, without being too hot in the spring. They should start appearing in the late summer.

  1. had some of the black in a pub in Grasmere. lake district prices made my eyes water but the beer is very nice.

  2. Dear Giro, if you make a flat sole version of the winterduro boot, I will probably forgive you for inventing the word winterduro. Otherwise, it’s war.

  3. Are those giro boots not just going to fill with water running down your legs?

  4. What’s with all these new FS bikes looking like they have a middle aged gut.

  5. Arm warmers or STW reboot of the film ‘the secretary’??

  6. > What’s with all these new FS bikes looking like they have a middle aged gut.

    to fit a bottlecage

  7. what’s wrong with a middle aged gut? there’s no shortage of them round here

  8. “What’s with all these new FS bikes looking like they have a middle aged gut.”

That’s so they’ll co-ordinate with most of their riders.

  9. Those DMR LOCDD grips are great, imo. Single bolt/clamp so you can run them slightly off the end of your bars if you want to try out wider slightly bar widths

  10. The fingers on those Gore gloves are looooooong

  11. The jockey top. Is that for extra small persons who ride 29ers!? 😉
