Your once a week dose of retail therapy from Singletrack’s Premier Dealers, stockists and advertisers.
Tuesday Treats gives you a quality serving of independent bike retailing and a chance to win big, in this week’s prize draw.
This week, we introduce Pedal & Spoke
Big Chief Howard explains “From our surf style beginnings in Peaslake, we’ve now had chance to spread out and establish ourselves in our second location in Cranleigh, becoming a real hub for local riders by offering a friendly, helpful atmosphere in-store and as riders ourselves, we always try to help folks out with advice or solve problems they may have out on the trails”.
Our expert team prides itself on providing all the advice and direction you need, a range of servicing packages, bespoke custom builds, demo rides. We can do it all.
What’s your current best-selling/hottest product?
Our hottest selling product of 2013 has been the SC Tallboy LTc. Since the launch, we have been inundated with demo requests that have been converted into sales and given us the opportunity to build some of the sickest bikes out there! ENVE wheels, XTR, you name it!
What kit does every member of staff have on their bike. What do you ride?
You name it – its ridden here at Pedal and Spoke – BMX, Road, DH, Enduro! We all have our specialities but the main thing is we live for riding! It’s a job but a passion and lifestyle for employees at Pedal & Spoke.
Tell us about demo bikes. What about custom builds?
A picture speaks a thousand words in my view, so here’s a thousand big ones! Talk to us about making your dream custom build a reality.
Tell us something about your shop/staff that no one knows…
Is there local riding you think our readers should know more about?
Shop rides – Tuesday nights are for the Road. Sunday MTB rides, posted up on our FB page and organised by the ever capable Si Walton. All welcome.
