Sheffield Adventure Film Festival host bike night - now cancelled

Sheffield Adventure Film Festival runs from 1 – 3 March this year, ahead of that they’re running a bike night. Here’s what’s going down.

Join us for the first 2013 ShAFF Expert Night on 1st Feb for a night of Sheffield-based mountain bike geekery like never before.

Brant Richards of On-One and Cy Turner of Cotic are two names synonymous with British mountain bike design. Both have always designed bikes with the rigours of Northern trails in mind and have consistently delivered game changing innovations. They’ll talk about how bikes have evolved, how material selection can affect design, how plans on the drawing board don’t always transfer to the trails and where the future of mountain bike design lies.

Each will speak for about an hour, separated by a break. The evening will be followed by a Q&A with both. Start 19.15. Cost £10.

Just a thought, but mentioning the date of the lectures that the article is promoting might be helpful. The only dates mentioned in the article are the dates for ShAFF, though the lectures appear to be happening a month or so earlier.
