As you read this we’ll be off to the Cycle Show at the NEC in Birmingham to meet, greet and have a look around for anything we might have missed at this year’s Eurobike and Interbike shows. pop by and say hi if you’re going.  In the meantime there’s no need to worry, because while we may be topping up our strip-light tans we’ve still got a selection of clips that’ll help your lunchtime pass in a beautiful dream of dust clouds, kickers and berms…

First up: videographer Aaron LaRocque, rider Brendan Hower, photographer Mike Zinger and writer Scott Secco disappeared off the radar for 9 days to create a little riding masterpiece in a clearcut in the woods of BC with the help of Piers Zdan and Pelle Gustavs. Dusty, buff and fun….

Ahh, summertime. Wasn’t it nice – if you were abroad. At least we seem to be getting a late season heatwave to make up for it all. Enough of that though, this is DMR in Morzine…

Ooh look! It’s a younger Chris Akrigg! We chatted to him as he was hobbling about on crutches at Eurobike and the healing is going well, so hopefully he’ll returning to his previous form soon…

Ahh, The Fast and The Furious. It conjures up images of Vin Diesel driving his nitrous oxide equipped Japanese supercar around while fighting off the ladeez and earning respect – or maybe even someone ragging a Vauxhall Corsa with a big bore exhaust and primer painted bodykit around you town centre – but the one thing it’s never brought to mind is trike racing. This epic proves us wrong…

Matt’s away on his hols this week so there’s no skateboarding. We considered a bit of inline skating but realised that would make him very unhappy – so here’s Matt Meola getting ready to smash your mind in with surfing…
