MaXx Exposure 6 lights up the Downs

by 0

This weekend sees the sixth installment of Exposure Lights and Trail Break’s epic MaXx Exposure night enduro. Designed to take advantage of the latest generation of lighting, this monster ride pits you against 80 miles of the mighty South Downs Way. Departing from Beachy Head at sunset and riding through the night to Queen Elizabeth Country Park at the Hampshire end of the SDW.

It’s an epic ride in every sense. An open hill enduro by night becomes a true adventure, and the scale of the Downs becomes fully apparent by night. But a full support operation is in place to back up your ride. High visibility reflective signs guide you along the route and four feed stations along the way will sustain you. And at the finish, you’ll be treated to the most welcome big fried breakfast of the year! Riders will also have the opportunity to test ride Exposure’s powerhouse Six Pack lighting system for the duration of the ride!

The full 80 mile end to end ride is almost full now, but you can still enter for one of the two shorter options; either a 40 or 20 mile night loop starting from the Queen Elizabeth Country Park base (and 80 mile ride finish). The MaXx 40 is still a hefty undertaking and worthy endurance challenge in it’s own right, while the MaXx 20 is classic night ride style blast, perfect if you just want to enjoy some two wheeled nocturnal grins!

Online entry for all rides closes on Wednesday evening, but you’ll still be able enter the 40 or 20 on the day, at the event itself. Visit trailbreak.co.uk for full details and booking.
