Dirty Saddles come to the UK

Flamboyant Frenchman Cedric Gracia has been a busy fellow of late. As well as having a new tyre out, he’s also been involved with the all new Dirty range of saddles from San Marco.

The Dirty range is designed with the the downhill, freeride and all mountain set in mind – indeed the press release claims that they will make gravity riders “360° satisfied”. Hype aside, they’re designed to be light but tough and there are some tidy looking designs. Mr Gracia and his CG Racing Brigade will be using them to compete in upcoming freeride, DH and 4X events.

Of particular interest is the Zoncolan saddle, designed specifically for enduro racing (of the Mega Avalanche style). It has strong but light CroMo rails and a carbon reinforced plastic shell covered with ‘Biofoam’ of varying thickness to keep your bottom comfy and at a claimed 190g it’s light enough to use on your trail bike. It comes in three designs with the race series logo’d Superenduro, the black’n’white Dirty and slightly more understated Skull model. Expect to pay £69.99.

The other saddles in the range are the cross country Phobos XCy at £59.99, the comfort-with-performance Ponza costing £39.99 and the £37.99 Triky slopestyle and BMX saddle.

I think they are afraid to show those things from the side because when you eventually find a pic they are superugly
