MTB Spider SRS…

The new MTB Spider SRS is shiny, really shiny.

“The Spider has a soft in-step closure system with an anatomical, padded strap that has been perfectly formed to distribute pressure over the entire in-step area. A calliper buckle locks in two ways, allowing for micro-adjustments to guarantee a precision fit. Two, high security Velcro straps integrate locking polymer teeth that engage when the strap is closed, to give a tight supportive closure that doesn’t allow for strap movement, even under extreme exertion, providing a secure closure throughout the ride. The shoe features the Sole Replacement System (SRS), which means that the tread panels are replaceable and have simple Phillips head screws for quick and easy changing at home.”

MTB Logo XC…

It also incorporates an MTB Competition Sole, specifically created for endurance or more high octane activities, it can be fitted with toe spikes (sold separately) for increased traction in difficult or muddy terrain.”

I have been a writer for nigh on 20 years, a photographer for 25 years and a mountain biker for 30 years. I have written countless magazine and website features and route guides for the UK mountain bike press, most notably for the esteemed and highly regarded Singletrackworld. Although I am a Lancastrian, I freely admit that West Yorkshire is my favourite place to ride. Rarely a week goes by without me riding and exploring the South Pennines.
